Alright! Another edition of "How The Hell Do You Pronounce It, Sir?". It never gets old, and there are so many misconceptions out there, it’s sickening!
Today, we will focus on a DoA fighter that we all know as Bass Armstrong. Yes, the one that looks like Hulk Hogan back in his nWo days. That’s the guy. Well, there are issues with this guy as well (seems to be following the happy Tecmo gaming trail), and it is just plain sad. More info after the jump!

Yeah, I’m excited! Square Enix has officially announced that Chrono Trigger will be coming to the Nintendo DS. That makes us fanboys really, really, really happy!
It doesn’t specify in the announcement that it would be a direct port of the SNES version, but knowing Squenix and their past, it most likely will be. The plus side to this? They’re adding a brand new dungeon to the game, as well as a "Wireless Play mode". Maybe a co-op play? Maybe deathmatch? Who knows! But it sounds so damn fun, and Chrono Trigger is the one game that I love playing over, and over, and over…
You get the point. Hit the jump to read the official announcement.

I love to play classic games. Actually, scratch that. I love to make sweet passionate love to retro gaming. Candlelight dinner. Dom Perignon to drink. Then, the night full of sex and KY Jelly. Oh yeah! Nothing beats playing classic games, bringing back good times, bad times, and the 57 controllers that you threw against the wall out of frustration, shattering them to pieces. Yeah, that’s so damn sweet.
So, how do you play the games that you loved so much. Well, you could buy every single one off of eBay. Do you have thousands of dollars to blow? No? I didn’t think so. So what are you to do? Well, you could buy them off of online networking services, such as Nintendo’s Virtual Console Service, Microsoft’s XBLA, or Sony’s PSN, (as well as Gametap for the PC). Sure, you can buy them, but you can also get them for free online, in ROM form. Go online, find the emulator for the console you want, download the ROM’s, and play them. Simple. Simple, but somewhat illegal. So, what are you to do?

So damn hot right now! But honestly folks, this is awesome. Sonic Unleashed looks to be a piece of the old nostalgic pie, and it’s just so good, you want it all to yourself. NO! GIMME BACK THAT PIE! There. Focus, my friend. This, THIS, is how the past million Sonic games SHOULD have been made.
Sure, you can blame it on the outrageously successful Super Mario 64, because it game the guys at SEGA the idea, "OOOO, MARIO 64 ROXORZ MY COXORZ, LET’S DO SAME WITH SONIC!" God, I need to stop being so over-dramatic about these things…
Anyway, watch the clip, and make sure your eyeballs don’t pop out of you head from the insane speed of the blue fur ball.

Gamers, as well as people, have their own way of pronouncing words, and honestly, I can understand, but not fully respect it. If you want to say it one way, and I say it another, then that’s just fine and dandy. Why give a shit! The reason why: because I love to argue. I have this little urge in me all of the time, where if something is wrong (and not just wrong wrong, but blatantly, idiotically wrong), I feel as if I need to create a great debate about it, and prove that it is just so damn wrong.

Alright, I’ll admit. I am a major adventure gaming nerd. But for those who are not familiar with the genre, or just want a nostalgic look into the past, then come along as we talk about the successes, the failures, and the future of adventure gaming. I will be making this into a 2 part article, just to keep things easy. So grab a Blue Moon, put on some music, and read on after the jump.

Well, today is Capcom’s 25th Anniversary. Today is the day that the company originated, and if it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t have franchises such as Megaman, Street Fighter, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, and of course, Resident Evil (even though they screwed with ex-Clover Studios on the Wii version of Okami). But still, Hooray!

Ahh, good old Oregon Trail. I remember the good old days where you get to choose a ludicrous last name for your family, buy enough supplies to help yourself as you watch your wife, kids, and mother starve to death, and kill off your oxen just for fun! Well, maybe I’m going a bit overboard on that one.
Anyways, Gameloft, a mobile games developer, has released The Oregon Trail, ready for download, and only for $4. But, if you are unsure if you want to spend the money right now to venture on such a quest, you can download a demo for free. Nice thing about it, they’re keeping the same ailments and diseases that you can catch.
So go buy or try it, see if you can relive the days where you die from dysentery.

Hello world, and welcome to RetrowrecK, where you will find all of your video gaming needs, wants, and pleasures. We will be working on the site more to make it more presentable, and easy on the eyes, so if it looks like a bit of a shit hole right now, then don’t fret, for it is in the beginning stage of life.
Now, I know that the name is RetrowrecK, and you must be thinking, "why the fuck is this site talking about new and upcoming games, when you have a title referring to classic games?" Well, the way we see it is that if it weren’t for the old games, then there would be no video games today! So think of it as an homage to the classics, which smashed the way for the games of today to come to life. Now do you see what I’m getting at? Good.
And to celebrate the sites grand opening, we present you all with a celebratory photo of a Spartans excitement for the birth of RetrowrecK, as well as an unconscious drunk in the background.
So, I hope everyone has a great time here at RetrowrecK, and I hope to see a lot of feedback from the online community. Cheers!
