Easy 3 Step Process
One
Rough Edit
I will create a rough edit for your review. You show it to anyone who needs to have input and come to a consensus about requested changes. Submit information about agreed upon changes to me, mapped to the video timeline. At this step, this can range from major changes to small details.
Two
Collaborate
I will complete the requested edits and resubmit for another review. You let me know of any additional requested edits for fine-tuning.
Three
Polish
I will complete the final edits and submit to you for final approval. Any requested changes beyond the 3rd round of edits should be minor, for example, misspellings.
I have found that this process has worked very well in the past to provide a structure for collaborative video editing. This framework can be adjusted but may affect the final agreed contracted cost. More than anything I would like you to be very happy with the final product.
